Braided Polypropylene Dock Lines - Marine Rope for Boats

SGT KNOTS is a direct-to-consumer brand that cuts out the middleman, passing the savings on to customers. Our CEO, Mike Shelley, started the company as a class project during his MBA, making and selling paracord bracelets. Over time, SGT KNOTS has expanded and now distributes a wide range of rope and cordage.

Located in Statesville, North Carolina, about an hour north of Charlotte, SGT KNOTS offers a variety of high-quality products, including our POLYPRO DOCK LINE. This polypropylene rope is a cost-effective alternative to nylon and polyester without sacrificing performance. Our solid-braid dock and mooring rope is a versatile, all-purpose cord suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, particularly in marine and water-based uses.

The solid braid construction of our rope provides high abrasion resistance and strength, while still offering some stretch to absorb energy. The smooth sheath ensures the line will not twist or unravel. Manufactured using quick-drying Multifilament Polypropylene (MFP), our dock line boasts excellent resistance to moisture, UV rays, and general wear and tear. These synthetic fibers float on water and protect against moisture, oils, abrasions, and all weather conditions.

Customers can choose from pre-cut lengths of 15 feet, with diameter options of 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch. Each pack contains two dock lines, available in black, white, or a red/white/blue color combination.
